Just wanted to add, once it's calmed down a bit, look into bitcoin sweeping as well. You most likely have the same amount in the fork coins, the main one being Bitcoin Cash. 25BCH is about 32k Canadian right now so another decent chunk. Does bitcoin .com give you a transaction ID (might be called a txid)? If so, look up that txid on bitcoin cash explorer https://explorer.bitcoin.com/bch , if the transaction has confirmed then it's likely your coins are gone, because you've sent them to a bitcoin cash address which isn't yours. Since I am not allowed to post images here (surprise)...... Coinbase gave me an address to deposit my btc into and when the funds were sent there from the sender, the funds never arrived in my account. Upon consultation with coinbase, they tried to tell me that the address I supplied was not associated with my coinbase account, which is CLEARLY was. Sounds like you can just use a blockchain explorer like blockchair for this. Just open your address and see your transactions and current balance. For example this BTC portfolio. Source: 10 months ago
