10 Poweramp Music Player Alternatives
Audacious is an advanced open-source audio player software that is a descendant of XMMS that helps you listen to high-quality music with its built-in music presets and effects. Audacious gets the most important things required to play the music, create your own customized playlists, or search for music from the artists and albums library. 10 Best Winamp Alternatives for Windows 10
Although not the best, Audacious is still the best audio player app that you can use. It’s an open-source audio player, and it’s pretty lightweight. To play any music files, drag and drop the folders containing the music, and it will list down the songs along with some additional details like artist name, albums, etc. You can even create your custom playlist with Audacious....

KDE Elisa Reviews

  1. Sadly one can not give ZERO stars

Tried Elisa (v22.04.1) under Windows 10 and three mainstream Linux distros (on an i5 3.4GHz with 16GB RAM) and was shocked how slow and clunky the app was. Admitted, my library contains more than 70,600 titles but having to wait 8:30 minutes each time to open the album view, only to lose all that again when switching to an artist view (artist with ONE album, again 3:10 waiting) is absolutely pathetic. Under Linux the waiting was a little shorter, however the app soon started to confuse artist entries (clicking on an artist in the list sent you to some other artist three or four entries down the list). There is no excuse for such shoddy coding, even much older apps I tested can easily (and quickly) cope with my library without problems. Buggy, klunky software is the main reason I stay away from KDE and Elisa being their default KDE muslib app confirms my point of view, and then some.
