  • Roll20 Sheet for Trinity Continuum?
The closest I've found to a useable Trinity sheet is on astraltabletop.com where they have the quickstarts pre-configured. The sheets there are pretty primitive and irksome to use, though. Source: over 2 years ago
  • GM'ing Online - How do I avoid feeling like I'm building an automated game?
I have a few recommendations based on your concerns. Find a VTT that fits your playstyle. Let the players keep their own character sheets. Have everyone roll real dice. Only use a VTT for sharing maps and placing tokens. owlbear.rodeo or astraltabletop.com have clean, simple interfaces. With a little practice, you can draw maps using owlbear as if you were in person. It has no automation so you don't need... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Want a break from your Main Campaign ? PRISON BREAK INSANITY is a Free 5th level Adventure Full of clockwork monsters, chase sequences and an intense dungeon crawl
I'd recommend putting it up on Astral as well. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Looking at new virtual tabletop to migrate away from roll20, any recommendations?
Check out Astral Tabletop https://astraltabletop.com. It's like a much more modern Roll20 in active development. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Which form of online playing do you prefer, and why?
Astral Tabletop https://astraltabletop.com currently has my attention. A free account is somewhat limited, and I can imagine you may need to only have uploaded whatever assets you need for the next session due to space limitations, but it's easier to use and way more pretty than anything else I've tried. • DMs, how do you visually display a dungeon to your players? (Map, drawing, etc.)
I have an in-person campaign, but I actually use Talespire for the maps and visuals, by having a tv in the room with us with a computer hooked up. I use the site Tales Tavern to get a majority of my maps, and then spend anywhere from 10 mins to 2 hours editing it to my liking. I have a visual map for every location for my campaign, and it completely immerses my players, they love what I’m able to come up with and... Source: 5 months ago
  • How I Play TTRPGs Solo with AI-Assistance Using OpenAI's API
Token creation: Heroforge (Create hero/choose from Community, remove base and pose as needed, go to Booth, remove the background, position the camera. Now you have a character image with transparent background that you can crop as needed - requires pro subscription.). Source: 9 months ago

Might I recommend heroforge.com? I cannot draw but it helps me put my character ideas into actual art. Source: 12 months ago
  • My extremely detailed free-roam map of Central Mithandor that I've been working on here and there for the last 5 years
I used Wonderdraft as the base program to create this project. (It's a great, cheap, one time purchase map-making program!) I used many of its included assets, however I also used additional custom assets that includes the following: Paid premium assets offered by Wonderdraft, both paid and free custom assets uploaded to the website Cartographyassets.com (some assets may no longer be available as I made this over...
