Alternatively no-code platforms are growing fast. There are some that are incredibly robust and allow you to build and iterate quickly on an idea. If you're looking for mobile, I'd recommend AppGyver, it's built with React Native behind the scenes and works really well for most app cases. There are low code database driven website creation systems out there at the moment e.g. OutSystems and Appian however they have very limited free trials (e.g. auto-disable after a few days of no use), and then the paid options are again too expensive. My concern however is - the working software isn't a generic language such as Java, C#/C++, Python etc. - it is with Appian (Business Process Management), which is a rather specific low-code platform for developing workflow and automation solutions.
