There are layers that offer access to native APIs like capacitor, cordova and nativescript. Apparently sometimes multiple of them should be used, but I didn't understand what are the differences even after reading the announcement. I find that really odd, given the absolute best templating experience I've ever had comes from slim, which is an indent-based ruby experience, as an evolution of haml, which was originally pitched as the html equivalent to the indent-based sass syntax. Source: about 4 years ago
