AnyDesk works very well. It's a remote desktop software available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Free for home use. I personally used it on all three OSs (specific flavors of Linux were Mint and Pop!_OS, both Ubuntu derivatives, so it should work on Ubuntu itself). Source: 11 months ago

That's years after Riftcat/VRidge, iVRy and AMD ReLiveVR did it and finally Airlink only happened because VirtualDesktop was stealing the show, an as far as I know only existed because this engineer started it on their own, PC compatibility was very very low on Metas TODO list. One way is with Vridge / Riftcat, which is the only program I know of which allows you to use the Flow with SteamVR. You have to install Riftcat on your PC, which can be downloaded on their website and then you have to install vridge on the Vive Flow.
