  • Hacked results
4 There should be alot of code, If it says error change the URL to your country code for example Ancestry.com (US) Ancestry.co.uk (UK). Source: 6 months ago
  • My True Ancestry! I'm a Modern Hungarian.
It's quite easy. You just have to download your DNA file from ancestry.com and then upload the zip file to MyTrueHeritage (after signing up of course). Then in 10 minutes your results are ready! Source: 6 months ago
  • I found out im pretty much English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh with a tad bit of Icelandic... Why do I have such thick brown curly dry hair olive skin and brown eyes?
Ill definitely keep that in mind I did do ancestry.com's test and was not exactly satisfied as it did not tell me what part of England or Ireland my family comes from as we are all very disconnected. Source: 6 months ago
  • The Ainu: Japan’s Nearly Forgotten Indigenous Peoples
My sister did do an ancestry.com DNA test, but it was super underwhelming since it was just 100% Japanese, with no regional breakdown. I think 23andMe does a better job and at least has Japanese regions, but unfortunately we went with the budget option. Source: 6 months ago
  • My family won’t acknowledge they got their tan skin from my ashkenazi Jewish great-grandpa.
That being said, my mom is 100% Ashkenazi (according to ancestry.com genetic testing) and as a little kid I used to ask her if she was black because her skin is so brown (I wasn't asking in a pejorative way I was just genuinely curious) and it is weird to me that people think that just because our families immigrated from Poland/Russia, that means we are of Polish/Russian ancestry; our ancestors were ethnic... Legacy Kit mentions (6)

  • For those that saved sperm before HRT, can you help me understand how it works?
I used givelegacy.com . They mail you a kit and have you overnight it back. Whole process was bonkers easy and they even sent me a second kit cause my first sperm count was too low. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Where do I ask about sperm storage?
The fees as listed are so much higher than the mail-in services as to put it out of reach for me to pay out-of-pocket. Storage at $1780 for 5 years is a lot higher than $595 from givelegacy.com, ro.com with the Planned Parenthood discount was even lower, but they aren't available at the moment. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Where do I ask about sperm storage?
On my own, I found givelegacy.com , which doesn't have the lovely Planned Parenthood discount that dadi did, but seems a lot cheaper than other fertility medical practices. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Freezing Sperm
Full disclosure, I am a fertility specialist that works at givelegacy.com which is the largest digital fertility clinic in the world. That being said, I can share with you that Legacy is a science first company and the leader in at home sperm testing and cryopreservation. Legacy offers semen analysis testing as well as dna fragmentation testing. You also get a FREE results review call with a licensed medical... Source: about 2 years ago
  • Getting a semen analysis from urologist
I'm so glad you are being proactive about your reproductive health. There are some services that offer at home SA kits. The one I'm most familiar with is Legacy givelegacy.com (disclosure: I do not work for Legacy, but I would like to in the future.). Source: over 2 years ago
