  It's definitely possible, you have android virtualization options for linux like QEMU, VirtualBox, Anbox, WayDroid, but most of these are either not great or a bit too advanced for this. • Minecraft Bedrock

  Does anyone know a way to play Minecraft bedrock on Linux(specifically fedora). I used to use this launcher: mcpelauncher.readthedocs.io, But it has been discontinued and no longer works with the latest version, which I need to be able to play on a friend's real.   It's safe, as long as you download it from the official website (https://citra-emu.org/). I believe that it's no longer necessary to provide original system files from a real 3DS, but it's highly recommended to do so in order to improve accuracy. Source: 12 months ago

That option is not intended for normal use, it should only be enabled per game if a big texture mod is in use. It doesn't improve performance or compatibility.
