If you're using a Mac, I really recommend alt-tab https://alt-tab-macos.netlify.app/. I love cmd+tab on a mac to switch between applications, but I was missing a feature to switch between windows of the same application. I use the Contexts [1] app, couldn't live without it (not affiliated...) It shows me all open Windows and in which Desktop, in its Sidebar (I've disabled the macOS dock.)
