Alarm VS Nest Thermostat

I have a ADC-V521IR indoor camera and it's behaving sort of weird. The camera is going to both my alarm.com (brinks) account and a local SVR. The local SVR recordings are fine and don't have any quality/lag issues. But the live streaming capability will only stream for about 2 seconds or drop to extremely low quality. I recently purchased a DR Horton home (resell, not new construction). I performed factory resets on all of the smart home equipment, IQ panel, skybell, garage door opener. We inherited the panels and wireless sensors for the business we acquired and I really wanted to integrate it with Home Assistant to perform some local operations, such as disarming the alarm when a specific lock code was entered into the door. Hello, world! I just installed a Nest Thermostat (the plastic one, and NOT the learning one https://store.google.com/us/product/nest_thermostat). I set it up and it works (It's a WSHP I believe). It lights up, turns on, engages the heat, all good. Except that it runs for about 30-45 seconds, and then switches to "Delayed start." It only moves to delayed for 2 minutes - 2:30 minutes each time, then runs for 30-45... Source: over 1 year ago

I bought the Nest Thermostat that Duke offers at a big discount (this one https://store.google.com/us/product/nest_thermostat). It's a lot different than the regular Nest Learning Thermostat. First, it doesn't connect to the Nest app, I have to use Google Home. Not a major deal but there doesn't seem to be any way to lock the thermostat.
