AdBlock might be a bit more popular than AdGuard Home. We know about 24 links to it since March 2021 and only 19 links to AdGuard Home. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Younglings? You also should consider installing AdGuard Home on a mini PC, Raspberry Pi, etc. And using it for your home DNS server. AdGuard Home has a Family protection mode that blocks inappropriate sites and enforces safe browsing while also blocking ads and trackers. Source: 5 months ago
Maybe try adguard home which is similar to pihole but has a feature where you can block specific websites and social media so seems more like what you are looking for: https://adguard.com/en/adguard-home/overview.html. Source: about 1 year ago
You don't need a Raspberry Pi to run Pi-hole. You can run it in Docker. AdGuard Home is an alternative to Pi-hole. Source: about 1 year ago
However, personally I recommend a selfhosted variant like PiHole or Adguard Home, which offer both network wide adblocking. The latter offers an easier setup and features out of the box. Source: over 1 year ago
You might also consider running AdGuard Home locally and pointing your devices to that instead. Then you can run any DNS server and still have adblocking. There is also Control D as an alternative to the AdGuard DNS servers if you don't want to run a local resolver. Source: over 1 year ago
Https://getadblock.com/en/ This one works fine with me on Opera GX. You can go to your browser's web store, like the Chrome Web Store and download one. If you switch to a browser like Brave or Opera GX, you can have a built-in one, which is easier. Source: 11 months ago
Interesting, I usually don't get pop ups on soap2day or that site(only if I miss click on the play button or something similar sometimes). I use an ad blocker though so maybe thats why. I get WAY more when I use my iphone though. Source: 11 months ago
If I were you I would contact official steam support at the Steam Help Page, maybe they'll be able to help you, make sure to use an AD-Block or a VPN to stay safe out here on the internet. Wish you good luck. Source: 11 months ago
This issue just appeared today, I've never seen it before. I'm using NordVPN with kill switch enabled, and I already checked with https://www.iplocation.net/ and http://checkmyip.torrentprivacy.com/ to confirm I'm routing all traffic through the VPN. I tried getting a new IP from Nord, but it still didn't fix it. I'm using this ad block plugin in chrome https://getadblock.com/en/ , so I don't think this is an ad. Source: over 1 year ago
I have an AdBlock extension for my Chrome browser on desktop: https://getadblock.com/en/. Source: over 1 year ago
