My company of 100+ people is on Google for Gmail, Calendar, Drive and Meet, but this craziness just makes me want to run away screaming. Makes me want to get https://8x8.vc/ running for the company. Source: over 1 year ago
I was curious, so looked at their paid offering[0]. I couldn't find their prices without making an account. Bad sign imo, but the free offering seems sufficient. [0]: https://8x8.vc. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
I love Jitsi, but it's not helping that the paid version of it (which allows you to reserve a namespace for your organization) is a separate app called 8x8 which even fewer people have heard of, and they're only partially compatible in a really confusing way. Source: over 2 years ago
I'm using both meet.jit.si and the paid service behind jit.si (https://8x8.vc/) and both are working quite well for me. The main reason for 8x8 is to support their efforts on jitsi. And yes, it's open source and you can also setup you're own jitsi serves if you're interested. Source: over 2 years ago

If you're looking for a similar tool then Whereby has a easy to use SDK. Source: 5 months ago
I use: https://whereby.com I don't know if it can handle sizable calls but it works well for me. It's simple, seems to have a decent privacy policy, and has always worked for me and others. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
To pile on the alternative recommendations: I've enjoyed using Whereby[0] in the past. I also somehow keep forgetting about them in these discussions until someone reminds me. The main thing of it for me is it's been more reliable than Jitsi (though I do need to give Jitsi another try) and doesn't need to be self-hosted.
