I'm just a hobby miner on the look-out for the next profitable coin to mine. But my Spidey senses went off when I saw the odd activities occurring on 2cryptocalc.com. I've been watching 2cryptocalc.com and on occasion have seen Expanse (EXP) rocket to the number one slot of GPU/POW mineable coin list with high profitability rewards. I got old S9's. They're cheap but produce much less hash than the newer ones. But I'm running them only in winter time and am able to under clock them to keep the noise at a minimum, using BraiinsOS. Source: 12 months ago

Another (cheaper) option is buying an old miner and hooking it up with BraiinsOS. You can under-clock some of the machines down to 300 watts. Source: about 1 year ago
