1440 VS AP News

Life is so busy these days but I like to keep tabs on the biggest headlines. I've been subscribed to 1440 for maybe a year and love it. I basically can just skim the world events while brushing my teeth in the morning, and there are links if I feel like reading more. It's a nice format that leaves no guilt if I miss it for the day. It's interesting to me that many threads here seem to imply that lower news consumption by Americans is bad and that the fault lies with the news industry.
