I added cloudflare-dns.com as a static entry and cleared cache. Cleared cache on my machine and pinged google.com. There were 2 DNS requests against both dynamic servers. I then pinged yahoo.com and 2 more DNS requests were created. I have not looked in Wireshark to see if the DNS requests are requests to the destination URL or if it's to cloudflare-dns.com. However, the fact that I have cloudflare-dns.com defined... Source: 10 months ago
I'm having an issue with cloudflare DoH (using cloudflare-dns.com) not working since tuesday on Android. As you can see in this post, it doesn't affect only me. Source: 12 months ago
I know but DoH with cloudflare-dns.com isn't working so I mentioned an alternative that is working that still uses cloudflare, albeit DoT. Source: 12 months ago
I am using cloudflare as DoH method on my phone (s22, Android13) with the following URL : cloudflare-dns.com . It was working well until earlier today, when it stoped working, and nothing I tried fixes it. Other DNS providers work, and cloudflare DoT works... Source: 12 months ago
I've been using cloudflare-dns.com for quite a while and noticed today that it stopped working on my Pixel 7 Pro. Switched it to one.one.one.one and it started working again. So far, so good. Source: 12 months ago
Go to https://cloudflare-dns.com/ and download the 1.1.1.1 app for iOS or Android. Source: about 1 year ago
It also blocks cloudflare's DoH domain connections (https://cloudflare-dns.com). Source: about 1 year ago
In Unbound, you set the upstream DNS servers in the DNS over TLS page. So if you're using Cloudflare you would set the IPs (1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1) and hostname as cloudflare-dns.com for both with port 853. Also, change the Unbound listening port to something unique like 5353. Source: about 1 year ago
Android only has DNS-over-HTTPS support for dns.google.com and cloudflare-dns.com presently. Unfortunately, it will not yet work with NextDNS. Source: over 1 year ago
What about https://cloudflare-dns.com/? If it works, then your ISP/router fucked up on how to route to 1.1.1.1 (the IP). Source: over 1 year ago
Check your hosts file for a cloudflare-dns.com entry. Source: over 2 years ago
That you see many "one.one.one.one." requests is actually hint towards this, not against it, as the Portmaster uses this domain for checking if it is DNS resolving works. The DNS client of the Portmaster does not trigger any DNS requests, as it always connects directly to the IP of the resolver. Also, the domain name that Cloudflare uses for DoT/DoH verification of their DNS service is actually cloudflare-dns.com,... Source: almost 3 years ago
As others were saying, use DNS over TLS or some other form of encrypted DNS. 1.1.1.1 and Quad9 are 2 decent options, with the latter protecting your privacy better. Source: almost 3 years ago
You can't just download the app from the normal 1.1.1.1 website because it's blocked in Egypt so you have to use the alternate domain https://cloudflare-dns.com/ or If the download links are broken just use https://cloudflare-dns.com/Cloudflare_WARP_Release-x64.msi. Source: about 3 years ago
Do you have the 1.1.1.1 app? I believe that’s what this is from based off the common name. https://cloudflare-dns.com. Source: about 3 years ago
