  • On the search for a truly "good" UI framework.
Recently I tried out Clarity but quickly found out that the community isn't big and issues simply weren't brought up, let alone all answered. That makes it difficult to develop already but it will also make it difficult to fix stuff when you migrate to new versions. So keep that in mind when making a choice. Its not just how well you can start the hello world application. You need to develop some serious stuff... Source: 10 months ago
  • Does material.angular.io SUCK as the Component Library for BACK OFFICE systems?
A problem is that material components use a lot of screen space. However, you can customize the density since a few releases. Another good choice for business apps might be clarity. Source: 12 months ago
  • What are your favorite component libraries for angular beside angular material ?
Clarity has good components and icons. Source: about 1 year ago
  • How to make an angular app not LOOK like an angular app?
Check out https://ant.design/ and https://clarity.design/ . There is also PrimeNG which can be heavily styled, but its technical quality is a mixed bag and therefore I can not really recommend it. Source: over 1 year ago
  • New OSS Project: Helm-Dashboard, the missing UI for Helm
It's an open source design system called Clarity Design. Source: over 1 year ago
  • AWS open sourced the AWS console design system
Thanks for the recommendation. I've used VMware's Clarity professionally (https://clarity.design/) and it's pretty bad (design and code wise). There's also IBM's Carbon (https://carbondesignsystem.com/); I love its design but it's incomplete in some areas. Microsoft has Fluent UI (https://github.com/microsoft/fluentui) which I have never used. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • Web UI Framework for Internal Tools?
I’ve enjoyed using clarity for this sort of thing: https://clarity.design/. Source: over 2 years ago
  • The Most Popular Angular UI Libraries to Try in 2021
Clarity is an open-source design system created by VMware that has 6.2K stars on GitHub. It is a combination of UX design guidelines, an HTML/CSS framework, and Angular components. Clarity provides developers with a rich set of high-performance data-bound components. A huge number of interactive elements can be implemented by using this library. Among them, there are accordion, date picker, login, signpost,... - Source: dev.to / about 3 years ago
  • UI toolkit for data-intensive applications?
Ant design is good. But I would suggest Clarity. It's built by VMware and follows their design principles. Source: about 3 years ago
