I use notion.so to try to keep organised, I have a page set up for things I want to buy that links to various, I try and resist the urge to actually buy it and instead just look at this page, having the coveted item amongst the other items that I have bought but shockingly did not complete me, helps me remind me of all the other junk I've bought this will eventually add to. I have also changed my splurge time to near the end of the month rather than right after payday, try and make it a reward for being good all month.
