What's a user-friendly journaling/note-taking software for linux?

  1. A second brain, for you, forever. Obsidian is a powerful knowledge base that works on top of a local folder of plain text Markdown files.
    Obsidian is one of the best tools in my opinion in terms of functionality, also thanks to the many available extensions. The notes themselves are also saved in Markdown format. However, Obisidian is not open source, which is a problem for some users.

    Logseq is a local-first, non-linear, outliner notebook for organizing and sharing your personal knowledge base.

    Currently I am looking at Logseq. The tool works much differently than QownNotes, but so far it also makes a good impression.
