I submitted a ticked on protonvpn.com due to high ping on the servers that where supposed to be on the same country I am and it turns out that the servers are using smart routing and they are phisically on miami but using the ip of my country. That's why I'm getting 200ms when connected to a VPN on the same country I'm in and 8ms when no connected to the VPN.
