Just keep in mind there are so many ways people's email can be compromised. From social hacks to technical. Take what I'm saying as something to add to your collective knowledge but not as fact. In any kind of password compromise never trust anything sent to you. Never click on any links or call any numbers sent from these emails. That said it is a common technique for phishing emails to use domains that look legit. The only legit email from spectrum is spectrum.com or maybe spectrum.net anything else treat with 0% trust.
