I just discovered a distro called Q4OS. It has a graphical (GUI) installer that is very user friendly and helpful, it runs great even on my 8 y/o 2Ghz CPU / 2Gb RAM former Chromebook, it is Debian based, so it is stable, and maybe best of all for your use-case, you can make it look *exactly* like Windows 10, XP, or even Vista, with just a couple of clicks.

  3. Manjaro Linux is a linux distribution which is based on arch linux. It uses the PACMAN package manager.
Been using Manjaro (Arch based) for my work machine for around 2 - 3 years and haven’t had any issues, always recommend it. Check it out https://manjaro.org.
