[Transno] This is an app available on the App Store as well as a web app. This is great for outlines, notes, and mind mapping. You create your notes in an outline format and it easily converts to a mind-map view. You can also share and collaborate with others. It takes a minute to get used to just like notion but they provide templates and guide you through tutorials to help you learn to navigate and use the app to its full potential. There is a free and a pro version. However, since this app is new there are only a few ways to upgrade to the pro version. Right now, you can invite friends to get three free months of Transno Pro, chat with them where they state they sometimes give out an activation code as a gift to you, or you can also give feedback to gain access for two months. The payment for pro option says that it is coming soon but as of right now there is no date, however I love that they won't let you pay until they deem it is fully ready for their consumers. Quizlet

[Quizlet] About 90% of you either already use this or have at least heard of it. For those of you that haven't--Quizlet is offered online or as an app for your phones and tablets. Essentially it transformed traditional flashcards and created a space to share your sets with others and study for your courses in a more interactive way than before. I can tell you that Quizlet was one of the main contributions to me receiving a 100% on my Anatomy & Physiology exam in my junior year of high school. You can add images to your cards and I found that really helpful. Plus, if spelling is important, you can use the write option to practice your cards. Quizlet recently combined with another helpful resource known as Slader--which provided solutions to textbook questions. Slader was free but since being combined with Quizlet it is now part of the premium subscription. Most of the main functions are free, but for some more awesome functions currently it will cost you $35.99 a year. Personally, that feels like a lot but you gain access to an entire world of textbook solutions and advanced study tools. [Concepts] I have recently come across this app while browsing the App Store for some new apps to try out. The main appeal is that it has an infinite canvas and many tools for sketching, doodling, planning, or note-taking. I can see this app being very helpful for engineers, architects, students going into the medical field, and certainly more types of people. It could be a great place to craft mind maps, brainstorm projects, draw diagrams, simply sketch, or note-take. The basic version of this app is completely free to use, however you do have the option to purchase more features. They have several purchase options to suit everyone's needs, especially if you only need a couple of the features. Currently, they offer an essentials package for $20 which includes most of what anyone would need. You can also purchase credits to use on brush and object packs at discounted rates. To import PDFs or export as a PDF it is a one-time purchase fee of $5. For anyone interested, they also offer a subscription method of payment to their entire library of features and tools including either monthly or annually ($4.99/mo or $29.99/yr).
