Xperia models prior to the 1iv/5iv/10iv do not support eSIMs. However you can purchase an eSIM adapter from eSIM Me and plug this into one of the two physical SIM slots. With this you can install eSIMs with international data roaming packages, but since no US carrier recognizes the Xperia as eSIM compatible you will not be able to use eSIM for your main line.
