Bear.app is a note-taking and content writing app that helps you boost productivity with its intuitive tools.
Not sure how well either supports exporting to Word, but you could open the Markdown file in Bear or Panda, which has good export options (also Apple only).

  4. A second brain, for you, forever. Obsidian is a powerful knowledge base that works on top of a local folder of plain text Markdown files.
I’ll second Obsidian—it’s amazing—and it can export to Word with Pandoc and the Obsidian Pandoc plug. Only downside is that it only works with files that are inside a folder you’ve designated as a vault. (I have a feature request on the Obsidian Forum to enable use of Obsidian as a markdown editor on files outside as well as inside vaults.
