A site dedicated to games created using the popular RPGMaker software.
How to find out about indie games/how I used to find about them: by following people who talk/blog/stream them (like Lottie, Oxycoon etc. And some local ones ..) and checking gamejams on itch.io, rpgmaker.net and the such. I used to do more of that when I was a dev myself but I haven't done any of that in .. ages, sry for not having many recs ;~; (lol I COULD share my games but yeah gotta git gud).

An online game marketplace and community.
But I assumed you wanted more recs than that, so I checked my itch.io for games I enjoyed playing / on my backlog and tried to check the gender of the devs that are active lol. Huge problem is, in the indie games scene not everyone who was active and a big deal 5 years ago is still now, and I haven't played many games in the past few years so it's hard for me to recommend. I was 100% obsessed with a few devs in the past (Moga and Prince come to mind ; I was OBSESSED with Moga/CARRIONBLUE ... ) but they're not around now. But Lady Meowsith and Madocallie are still around, and I'd recommend them for "wholesome" and "wtf did I just witness?" experiences respectively :D.
