giscus

I use giscus (https://giscus.app) — like Utterances but using GitHub Discussions rather than GitHub Issues. Works pretty well, but is somewhat “heavy” because it phones home to a Next.js app.

Another one I can recommend enthusiastically but forgot to mention before, is a paid service called FastComments (https://fastcomments.com/). Great, non-heavy code with a super-helpful developer.
