XMage allows you to play Magic against one or more online players or computer opponents.
My advice would be to look into Cockatrice and XMage as alternatives to Tabletop Simulator. I tried all three with my playgroup and we found TTS to be the most cumbersome of the group. Cockatrice is what my group uses, and both that program and XMage are free.
