  3. A better way to work in the browser.
    - Workona for tab management. I used this a few years ago with reasonable success; only stopped because I didn't need it badly enough at the time. I've been struggling with tabs lately and remembered it yesterday; I've reinstalled it and I'm very pleased so far. I'm a web developer and like to hop between projects, and for each thing I'm doing, I keep a million tabs open... And now that I have a hybrid work schedule (some in-office, some remote) with multiple computers, it's frickin' impossible to remember where I left off on a different computer, or keep track of the tabs I need to keep open for ongoing projects. (My tabs "show my work" in a way, and help me remember where I left off with researching a bug/task/whatever. It's like having a trail of breadcrumbs.) Workona helps because I can group tabs into "workspaces" for each project, and switch between them. It hides everything I don't need right this second, without losing it, and without having to permanently bookmark it. And even better, it syncs between multiple browsers & computers. Pretty heavenly!

  4. Cold Turkey is a free productivity program that you can use to temporarily block distractions so that you can get your work done!
Leaving a few I like: - ColdTurkey for blocking distracting websites during the workday. The features that come with the free license has been enough for me for the last year, but upon thinking about it for this post, I've now purchased the one-time license key to support the developer, because I like it that much.
