I now have to find the data, in this case the Icons in order are: Microsoft Power BI, Shopify, not sure maybe Git?, Generic Cloud?, not sure again, this is Github, last two I'm unsure. In general its just a source of raw data, places, times, products, purchase information, time of events, state of objects, responses to surveys, etc... Anything can be a source of information. But these are common ones I suppose, although I don't know the logos of some. In the background you have dbt, which sort of allows you to manipulate and send source data information using SQL like queries to the data pipeline. FiveTran another kind of data pipeline. Firebolt they made this, but they are a data warehouse as far as I am aware.

Data scientists will build and structure the data and store it and manipulate it and extract the value from it so that the analysts and sales people can then come in and do some selling.
