    I kind of agree and I kind of don’t on your first point, I think a lot of people don’t realise that a lot of the web is still that way, it’s just we’ve got better at going further with the technology. Frameworks such as bootstrap have made it so simple for anyone to get started with HTML design without having to worry about CSS at all. Static site generators also power a lot more of the web than you’d think too, Jekyll is my one of choice and all that does is automate linking between pages and creating blog rolls pretty much.

  3. The Old Net is an attempt to restore vintage web browsing on vintage computers. It uses the Internet Archive: Wayback Machine API and a proxy that strips out any incompatible javascript and stitches together as many links as it can.
