    Do you have a list of basic vocab that you should know for the exams? If so, learn them. Ideally make them into an Anki deck (https://apps.ankiweb.net/ ) and learn them. Use Jisho (https://jisho.org/ ) to help with the basic meanings. If you don't have a list of vocab then take a look at https://learnjapanesedaily.com/most-common-japanese-words.html/#1000-most-common-japanese-words-week-1 or similar (Google is your friend here) and learn as many as you can within the time available (10 - 15 a day is a good target).

    Anki is a program which makes remembering things easy. Because it's a lot more efficient than traditional study methods, you can either greatly decrease your time spent studying, or greatly increase the amount you learn.
