    Ruby + Ruby on Rails is also a popular 'batteries' included option that I would say is on-par with python + Django both in terms of functionality and ease of use. The most notable difference for a beginner is probably the language syntax. I prefer python but you may like ruby!

    AWS, GCP and Azure are definitely the top three cloud providers but there can be a steep learning curve here. Linode and DigitalOcean are a less 'evil' but the learning curve remains. The easiest cloud provider I have used is render. Managed services + dead-easy deployments :chef-kiss:.
