As for Nord, oh booooy where to I begin with it. Now, the info im about to tell you was relevant in 2020, I doubt things have changed but hey who knows. So, when you make a payment with nordvpn it gets processed by CloudVpn Inc. Nords parent company is TefinCom. The CEO of Cloudvpn and Tesonet is a guy named Darius Bereika. So whats the problem you say? This guys name is also linked with a Literal data center.. If you were to ask me, what is the point of paying for a vpn when my information could POTENTIALLY fall into the hands of a guy that owns a data center? Doesent that defeat the whole point of a vpn? Is there anything inherently bad with another company managing your transactions? Not really, but there could be, you just never know. And knowing that the same guy who owns these companies has a vexed interest in getting your data for one reason or another, it would not be incorrect to hypothesize that whats going on here is a bit nefarious.
