Good question. I have followed the market and stocks I am interested in for a while but I am fairly new to actually going in on stocks. I will say from my little experience to get your information from a wide range of sources and weigh their opinions against each other. For instance, if everyone on Yahoo Finance is talking about a stock then what are they saying on other outlets. Also I would use websites like https://finviz.com/ and https://docoh.com/ for research.
