How to create Milkdrop-like animations?

Shadertoy GLSL Sandbox
  1. Build shaders, share them, and learn from the best community.
This animations are created using shaders. This are programs made to be runned in a GPU instead of CPU. The shaders execute once for each pixel in the screen simultaneusly, once for each frame. The result of the execution set the color of that pixel for that frame. With this and math you can do a lot of things. I recommend you to look for GLSL shaders here: glslsandbox.com or shadertoy.com, there is a lot of examples. If you dont like to code, I recomend you Astraltrip: astraltrip.gl . It is kind of IDE who lets you create shaders with drag-n-drop interface.
