How I get my snow forecasts

Windy Weather.com
  1. 1
Wind and weather forecast for kiters, surfers, pilots, sailors and anyone else.
I like windy.com a lot. They have 10 day ECMWF, as well as GFS, NAM, ICON and Meteoblue for free, with a granularity of 3 hours. Paid gets you hour-by-hour and a few other things. The interface is a bit confusing at first and the amount of data can be a bit intimidating, but it's super useful once you figure out what you need to check.

  2. The Weather Channel and weather.com provide a national and local weather forecast for cities, as well as weather radar, report and hurricane coverage
As far as the quick and dirty forecasts, I'd replace wunderground with weather.com, or at least add them too. They've been the clear leader in forecast accuracy among the major commercial sites for quite some time. A lot of the same issues like only giving base area forecasts (and it doesn't even do that for Crystal Mountain, you get Enumclaw instead...). But for weather at a glance, it's pretty hard to beat.
