  • My family is seriously damaging my mental health.
There are but we only have one vehicle, and it's a big no on driving anywhere other than a job or the store. I've decided to go to 7cups.com and talk it out there. It'll have to do until I get a job. I just needed to vent somewhere. Thanks for the suggestions, though! Source: almost 2 years ago
  • I [27f] cut off my brother [32m] and my entire family is angry
Some advice: maybe talk to other people in your family so they can warn you if he's in your town or neighborhood? And also, look into getting a better therapist. While you're trying to find a new one there's always Better Help or 7cups.com (7cups is free, but JSYK I've used the latter before and you have to be very selective. Not all the people on there know what they're doing. They're not trained professionals,... Source: almost 2 years ago
  • I keep failing to manifest or to convince myself there is hope, and falling into panic
*Reiki (can not recommend highly enough) *Hypnotherapy *Calling a warmline or using 7cups to talk to someone. Source: about 2 years ago
  • I need someone to talk to..
There's a mental health text-chat site called 7cups.com where you can talk to a volunteer about what's going on. It's free and anonymous. Source: about 2 years ago
  • What’s the reason there are so many incels?
There's a free online support called 7cups.com with 'listeners'. They're not therapists, but volunteers. Similar to people that volunteer on suicide hotlines. Source: about 2 years ago
  • I was raped and don’t know how to get help
You can also try 7cups.com to talk to a volunteer trained listener about how you feel at any time. You are never alone. There is always someone to talk to. Source: about 2 years ago
  • I was the other other woman on and off for almost 9 months. Should I tell the other woman?
The guy is a classic hound. You described mutual guilt after your encounters. No sweetie. You felt guilt. He was just playing you like a fiddle. He got exactly what he wanted. As soon he saw, early on, you were fairly isolated and depressed, he became your only friend, but kept on flirting to remind you not to friend-zone him. He was just playing "the long game" to wear you down and get in your pants. Don't... Source: about 2 years ago
  • A few things that have helped me progress throughout the years for Anxiety/Depression
Signing up as a volunteer at 7Cups - 7Cups.com is a website/app designed for people to lend an extra ear as there is a mental health crisis in the states and worldwide. Volunteering some of my time to this platform has made me realize that I am not alone with the demons I face and faced, that my emotions are valid just as anyone else's, and just talking to someone through talk therapy may help. Definitely... Source: about 2 years ago
  • Scared Student Here
If you need someone to talk to anonymously, or if any of your friends need someone to talk to or anyone, 7cups.com is a free resource for chatting with a counselor. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Disgusted.
May I add 7cups as an alternative or at least a starting point? They offer free listeners for people who need talk, vent or just know that someonehears what they are saying, as well as access to low cost therapy options. Source: about 2 years ago
  • My partner says she's suicidal - WDID?
Sometimes chatting on discord servers or getting a pet is a good way to alleviate a sense of loneliness. There's services like 7cups.com as well to alleviate loneliness:. Source: about 2 years ago
  • I just can't take this anymore.
7cups.com does free therapy, but there are lots more as well, just google. Source: about 2 years ago
  • 24 [F4A] A shoulder to cry on and an ear that will listen
You can try 7cups.com It's a mental health website that offers both paid licensed therapists and free volunteer listeners. The quality of free listeners can be hit and miss, but personally I still go give 7cups a try when I need to rant. Source: about 2 years ago
  • I lied about my age and never came clean..
When I was 15, I was obsessed with this website where you would basically let people vent. It was called 7cups.com.. Check it out to be more familiar with the situation. People (18+) will just tell you their issues and the people were always and you would support them but NOT give them advice, of course. Yeah sometimes a few weird people would come on but it was very rare.. It was very professional and there was... Source: about 2 years ago
  • Any ideas that can help me?
The only things I can suggest is, try 7cups.com where you get free support online. Search amazon and find some good self help books (can try library if you dont want to buy). Try some nutritional supplements that may help with depression/anxiety (ie: l-theanine). Try to eat as health as you can and get some exercise (even if its just nature walks to calm the body/mind). • I treat the general picnic like shit because I'm ugly with really crooked teeth and can't afford 10k+ to fix them. AMA.
Maybe talk out how you feel with a therapist or if you cannot afford one go to 7cups and talk to a free listener. Some of them might not know their shit. But I do know a few who are like me and have studied psychology. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Problems with an ESFP in a relationship
If you want someone to just talk to, and gather your thoughts I would recommend 7cups.com The free service volunteers are there to provide active listening which allow you to talk things out and allowing yourself to make the best choice for yourself. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Help managing intense distress between therapy sessions
7cups.com it's a listening service. You can express yourself anonymously. Source: over 2 years ago
  • HELP ! Want to seek professional help online
I've heard good things about 7Cups / /r/7Cups. Source: over 2 years ago
  • I don't know how to move on from psychiatry trauma
If you want to just have someone to talk to for emotional support, 7cups is 24/7 and free, and they don't ask for any personal information other than an email. Not licensed professionals, but all volunteers go through a bit of basic counselor training. Source: over 2 years ago
  • This community is rifled with fakeness
7cups.com is a good website for free therapy (results vary, however). If you're looking for one-on-one chats, there are a few that are more social than support (but it's important to be supportive in social situations) then there's r/Needafriend r/MakeFriendsHere and r/friendship. The Online Therapy Services We’d Use

8 Online Alternatives That Are Cheaper Than Traditional In-Person Therapy
7 Cups of Tea is an app and online service focused on emotional health and well-being.
