I send an email to namecheap using yourdigitalrights.org. I provide my username and support in IN THE EMAIL, yet their stupid support keeps replying asking for my username and pin. I already provide it. This is literally refusing to comply with the law by denying my ability to see through that my data is deleted in accordance with local privacy regulations. This is absurd. I donated however and talked to their founder and I think this model fits better than a commercial one. The way it’s built you don’t actually share any data with them. They essentially provide templates to make erasure requests and follow-ups easier. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
