  • Plugin that allows XYZ cords for "land claiming"
Worldguard with AreaShop will allow xyz claiming for buying and renting, works with signs and/or commands for player interaction. Source: over 1 year ago
  • YAWP - Local Region overhaul update
Yet Another World Protector, or YAWP for short, is a server-side mod for Forge, which allows you to protect your creations against various different events/actions of players, mobs and the environment. It was inspired by the forge mod [WorldProtector](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/worldprotector) and the [WorldGuard](https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/worldguard) plugin. This is a bukkit plugin called worldguard. Players can defend certain pieces of land. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Yet Another World Protector: first beta release!
In constrast to WorldProtector, YAWP is a server-side mod. Afaik this is the first 1.16.5+ protection mod for Forge which is only server-side (if not feel free to correct me!). YAWP allows you to protect your creations against various different events/actions of players, mobs and the environment. It was inspired by the forge mod WorldProtector and the WorldGuard plugin. • Everscale TIP 4.2 standard now supports tokenized metaverse regions
WorldGuard 👉https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/worldguard And WorldEdit👉https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/worldedit have become game-changers, allowing players to protect their private areas on public servers. Since then, claiming a region for your base has become one of the primary things a newcomer player does on the server. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Merchant Villages [PVE] {Unlimited Land} {Land claim} {No Griefing} {Dynmap} {1.18.2}
Engaged and helpful owner/operator. The owner designed his role on the server as almost benevolent. Strictly enforcing NO pay-to-win concepts, but assumes tasks that could be automated for the players benefit. For example: There's no region protections available to players for self-service, but the owner will use world-guard to protect any area you want to utilize. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Securely home-host mc server behind proxy
Then you should consider what players should be allowed on your server and which permissions should they have. You can setup a simple whitelist on any Minecraft server to allow only approved players, but there are more advanced solutions. As an admin you can limit what each player can and can't do with the help of various plugins (e.g. LuckPerms and WorldGuard), as well as setup a world border. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Thinking of starting a local public server, any things I should set up? (Ex. Anticheat, sleep plugin, etc.)
    - WorldGuard for preventing players from destroying structures (https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/worldguard (I think this is the link)). Source: over 2 years ago
  • Building a server for kids - I chose poorly
Now the build apart is a bit more difficult. Plotsquared might be what you want (it can create a creative plot world) [THIS IS A PREMIUM PLUGIN BUT YOU CAN COMPILE IT USING THEIR GITHUB.. JOIN OUR DISCORD IF YOU NEED HELP WITH IT] Worldguard can be used to create plots which owners can control completley. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Any security concerns one should know about before releasing a 1.18.1 server to the public?
If you have that all set up correctly I would also recommend getting Worldguard if you want to make a spawn for your players. And actually sit through the Worldguard wiki and read how you're supposed to configure regions, because they don't work the same as griefprevention. But Worldguard regions are way more configurable which is future-proof in case you decide you want a community shop in your spawn in the... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is there a plugin which limits the radius of a world in which you can set respawn points?
You can make a region surrounding the spawn area, using flags you can prevent players from placing beds/blocks/commands - Plugin WorldGuard. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is it possible to prevent the water from freezing?
WorldGuard, set ice-form to false for region __global__. Has to be done for every world that you want to have it, but it should be pretty easy to do. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Any mods that adds crafting and functionality to sponges?
Https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/worldguard (Versions for CB1185 plus). Source: over 2 years ago
  • Some questions
I'm assuming you are going to use server software such as Spigot or any of it's forks. Download the plugin WorldGuard. Warning that it has a dependency of WorldEdit for it to work. From there on out, you will need to consult a WorldEdit tutorial to know how to properly make selections to later claim land using WorldGuard that you can then prevent people in that claim from modifying the area, like how you said you... • Limited Creative for 1.16
You can do this very easily with Worldguard. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Plug-in to name regions
Plugin: https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/worldguard. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • A better survival with plugins?
Core Protect, Grief Protection, Shop, MCMMO, Essentialsx, WorldGuard, WorldEdit. Those plugins (and a perms plugin and some configging) will get you a full fletched survival server for fun and stuff. I used these/some variations (we did 1.8 so different versions) but these are the sort of things we had and it was a blast. Source: about 3 years ago
  • For Forge server admins
If you do use this, I recommend using the TownyAdvanced plugin for plot claiming (so you can't break items inside it, unless they allow it)/towns/nations, WorldGuard for the block logging, LobbyAPI as a lobby/hub in a different world (technically dimension), but on the same server, and Clear Lagg, for deleting entities every x amount of time.
