  • Home wifi with user authentication.
Check out https://connectify.me/ , they seems to offer an easy to use app. ( I haven't used it, only heard of it). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Offline/Wired Steam Deck Screen Mirroring to Windows PC
I used to use this (https://connectify.me/) application in 2016-2018 for the same purpose to get a private wifi network for gaming at university (which did not allow game systems on its internet even in the dorms) off my laptop for my other devices. Don't know if it is still a good option in 2023 though. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Two 5G Home Cubes, One House?
You can share it with their Windows based Connectify software. They supposedly offer port forwarding if you upgrade to their Teams service, which you can be a team of 1. I haven't tried that. Source: over 1 year ago
  • can I download ps5 games on a pc and move them to a ps5?
You can use an app called Connectify to create a wifi hotspot on your laptop for your PS5 to connect to and download that way. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Hotspot,firewall and rotating IPS
What do you think about this? Https://mypublicwifi.com/publicwifi/en/index.html Https://connectify.me. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • PSA: The Steam Deck does not currently work with username/password protected WPA2 Enterprise PEAP networks, which most schools and companies that require sign-ins use.
If this is the same as the problems I had with my Wii U and 3DS at uni (which used Eduroam) I ended up using Connectify in my halls. Obviously only really helpful if someone lives at uni (or want to carry a laptop around too I suppose) but at least you'll be able to use the internet in your halls. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Connecting echo dot to hotel wifi
The workaround I've used is to connect and authenticate Wi-Fi internet access with a laptop, then use something like Connectify running on your laptop to create a Wi-Fi access point that you can then connect to on the Amazon dot. Source: over 2 years ago
  • ULPT Request: internet access at work
I would purposely go to the closest computer juice my ethernet directly into it's wall ethernet outlet and then broadcast the WIFI for my entire team. Sometimes the Windows hotspot has iffy support for your network adapter, so you may need something like Connectify hotspot instead. Source: almost 3 years ago
