Snoring typically wont kill anyone. Its the SPO2% drops, sleep interruption, sleep deprivation and flow restriction (RERA/UARS) that leads to quality of life and health deterioration. When things go from light->medium-heavy snoring and then go into the Sleep Apnea zone is when it gets really bad. https://i.imgur.com/mO0FNtD.png Sometimes people just need to see hard data and that is where a datalogging pulseox... I picked up a thumb/finger O2 Ring so I can wear it comfortably while sleep. The ring does continuous O2 & HR monitoring (4 second intervals) and will even vibrate along with the app sounding a horn to wake me if my O2 saturation drops below a threshold I set. Source: over 1 year ago
Hi guys... I recently got a Wellue 02 Ring after noticing some low-ish oxygen ratings on a friend's pulse oximeter. For those not familiar with the ring (https://getwellue.com/pages/o2ring-oxygen-monitor), it's basically a pulse oximeter in smart ring form that you can wear while you sleep. I can't speak to it's accuracy, but it seems like the readings are pretty close to the more conventional ones. Source: over 1 year ago

Buy a datalogging pulseox such as https://getwellue.com/pages/o2ring-oxygen-monitor and you can monitor this condition every night. Ideally get one supported by OSCAR in case you wind up on CPAP. Source: almost 2 years ago
Sleep Apnea is pretty easy to detect with a data logging pulse ox. Such as: https://getwellue.com/pages/o2ring-oxygen-monitor. Source: about 2 years ago
I also have a Wellue O2ring for continuous apnea monitoring while I sleep, and that has a Bluetooth monitoring protocol which ostensibly lets it work with PCs, but the only continuous monitoring software I can find for that is for phones (and the phone UI isn't suitable for OBS overlaying); the PC software they provide is only for offline analysis of the recording. Alternatively, you could try this device (https://getwellue.com/pages/o2ring-oxygen-monitor) and measure your SpO2 levels to see how much oxygen you're lacking when you're sleeping. Source: over 2 years ago

If you get a data logging pulse ox with an alarm feature that vibrates below a certain SPO2% (https://getwellue.com/pages/o2ring-oxygen-monitor) you can freak out with something waking you up vibrating on your hand while your brain is freaking out and waking you up with its high carbon dioxide sensor. 2) Make sure you don't have sleep apnea/UARS. Those two things can also trash sleep. A data logging pulseox is very handy to have. You should have fairly stable O2 and Pulse during the night. https://getwellue.com/pages/o2ring-oxygen-monitor 20% off with black friday sale. No, it only alerts you for high or low heart rate if you have it set up. You are better off getting something like the Wellue o2 ring to monitor your oxygen. It has vibrating alarms that can alert you when low oxygen levels. https://getwellue.com/pages/o2ring-oxygen-monitor. Source: over 2 years ago

I havent done this yetm but I hear a lot of innacuracy of reflectance pulse oximetry method, which utilized by wristworn wearables. Transmissive pulse oximetry have better accuracy. I have Wellue SPO2 and slept with it for ~50 nights. It measures SPO2 every 4 seconds. I've did a correlation analysis to Fitbit Charge 4 spo2 from existmated_oxygen_variation.csv an there is no correlation between SPO2 from pulse... Source: over 2 years ago
Low D and B's can make a train wreak out of sleep due to the lack of neurotransmitters that drive sleep and the symptoms can come on suddenly. If it gets bad enough UARS and sleep apnea can also suddenly appear and trash sleep due to the role of Vitamin D maintaining proper paralysis of the body required during REM sleep.
