I was previously subbed to the "recommended" or default VPN that the service used to advertise (vpn.ht). For the past 3 days I can no longer connect to that service, their support isn't answering any emails, and I'm even unable to change my password on their website to log into my account. For the past three days I have not been able to connect to vpn.ht (the associated VPN of the app). And their customer service is not able to tell me why, nor reset my password to use their openVPN alternative method. Source: about 3 years ago
Has anyone ever tried vpn.ht? And is it any good or should I just stay away from it? Source: about 3 years ago
I was not familiar with vpn.ht so I went looking for information. They are a small vpn located in Hong Kong. Their network is small, 95 servers located in a total of 22 countries. The lawsuit was filed in Virginia which is known to be friendly to copyright claims. I doubt if the vpn company keeps much assets in their Paypal account. Source: about 3 years ago
