  Thanks for your reply. Just so you know, being a voting advocate for friends and family is an incredibly effective way to get out the vote. Every year, I contact all my peeps and make sure their registration and address are correct, and they know when, where and how to vote, so keep up the good work! • I've recently retired and now have some free time. I live in a very red rural area. Any idea how I might find ways to volunteer to help with the current war on our rights?

  If you don't like public settings, something that is less people-facing that I've done is write letters for Vote Forward. I most recently sent letters for the Wisconsin Supreme Court election and previous to that, worked on the Georgia runoff campaign, and of course the mid-terms. Source: 12 months ago

  Write letters to voters! I like the organization Vote Forward because their strategy has been tested experimentally and has been shown to actually increase turnout. You sign up, they give you 20 letters to print out, you write a personal, handwritten note on each letter, and then you address them (they give you a list) and mail them on a specific date called the "Big Send"...
