Thank You for clarifying it, yes I am exactly looking for keyboard shortcut, I have heard about Vivaldi browser that it is specially designed for users which prefer keyboard shortcut keys and advanced users, but I failed to use as I intended. If you have any idea or suggestion of how to do this specific thing which I am looking for, then do let me know. Thank You. Source: 5 months ago
For those who can't switch away from Chrome extensions yet I recommend trying Vivaldi Made by Opera browser Founder https://vivaldi.com. - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
What's that? A browser bug? A browser misconfiguration? Should I stop using an alternative Chromium build like Vivaldi? - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
While these screenshots use Google Chrome, they will also work on all 'Chromium' based web browsers, like Brave, Vivaldi, ungoogled-chromium, etc. Window's Edge is also compatible, though some the button locations are changed. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
Install the Vivaldi browser (it's a browser created by the co-founder of Opera browser). Source: 8 months ago
Vivaldi has what you want, does not track your use (which is one way some other browsers generate revenue) and is employee-owned, meaning there are no outside investors pressung the company to change those policies. And it's free! Source: 10 months ago
The 'Report Broken Site' feature you are referring to must be the one on the 'actual' vivaldi.com website, correct ? Thanks so much for responding to my inquiry, I surely miss using the android version of vivaldi on my phone. Source: 10 months ago
Have you tried Vivaldi on desktop? It has a sidebar. Opera and Vivaldi also have some of the same DNA, figuratively speaking, as the founder of Vivaldi was also the founder of Opera, and started Vivaldi a couple years after selling Opera off to the consortium that currently owns it. Test to see if you have the same issue in Vivaldi. Vivaldi behaves similarly to Opera with its use of the Windows Media Foundation for some media playback. Source: 11 months ago
If you use a chromium-based browser, I'd recommend Vivaldi any day. It's easily the best chromium browser imo. Source: 11 months ago
Also Vivaldi is probably the best browser for power users, and it's chromium based. Source: 11 months ago
Opera got sold and the people who used to work there now continue their work at Vivaldi. Love their browser: strong focus on keyboard users, fast, privacy oriented. https://vivaldi.com. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
Vivaldi is a very feature-rich browser, more so than basic Google Chrome/Chromium. Source: 11 months ago
Firefox has been going downhill for a while now, so it's not surprising. That said, if you don't want to use Chrome, a fairly good alternative would be Vivaldi [0] - a surprisingly neat browser created by the ex-founder of Opera. It's based on the Chromium engine, so no weird rendering shenanigans, but at the same time is quite technically capable, with ad blocking, mouse gestures, email client, etc. [0]... - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
Edge handles things differently when it comes to media. A good comparison for Opera is Vivaldi. Temporarily install it and see if the problem happens there too. Source: 11 months ago
Any Chromium-based browser. It has the developer tools I’m the most comfortable with. Currently I’m pretty happy with Vivaldi. Source: 11 months ago
Vivaldi has been around for several years: Https://vivaldi.com. Source: 12 months ago
Also it makes requests in the BG to google and vivaldi.com. Source: 12 months ago
Test with Vivaldi too to see it the same thing happens with it. Vivaldi and Opera behave a lot alike when it comes to media handling. Source: 12 months ago
I used Vivaldi until today. Looks dope, heavily customizable yet pretty easy to use, there are some pretty useful widgets that can help in day-to-day usage like the Gesturefy-like plugin. But it's slow, you trade beauty to speed (but it's still usable, far from being the slowest). But I also had a massive drawback, I have absolutely no clue why, but it has a disgusting compression (on my PC, idk about others),... Source: 12 months ago
Try Sidekick. Vivaldi is good option, too, but it's laggy a bit for me and others. Source: 12 months ago
