We have tracked the following product recommendations or mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you see what people think about US Mobile and what they use it for.
  • Why is getting a cheap prepaid SIM card in the USA so complicated?
Https://usmobile.com is the best MVNO for regular usage. Ranked #1 by consumer reports and great customer support. https://silent.link is a good option for cheap data. Accepts cryptocurrency and data doesn't expire. https://jmp.chat is a cheap option for numbers. - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
  • Warp[vz network] Data accounting does not match reality
I kept going back and forth and the rep kept stating the amount listed on usmobile.com, and inside the app, as the current month's data usage did NOT include hotspot data, and that the hotspot data is what drove me over 100GB. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Looking for new carriers?
Can you specify what plan you are on with Mint? Try tello.com they have custom plans to match your needs. Or try usmobile.com, their pooled plan starts at $9 for Unlimited Talk / Text + $2 per GB of data on either Verizon or T-Mobile network. Taxes included for US Mobile on pooled plans only. Tello charges no fees except for taxes (no recovery fees like Mint, service fee, etc.) If you want other options with... Source: over 3 years ago
  • Why is it so difficult to understand data usage with US Mobile?
Would you or anyone at US Mobile be able to expalin why the App shows different information than the web (http://usmobile.com)? Source: over 3 years ago
  • In my opinion, AT&T's website design needs a major overhaul.
Someone mentioned Verizon. I currently use them for wireless; they are not quite as bad. (Better performance, better navigation, less buggy). But the real winners here are some of the MVNOs (like US Mobile or Google Fi). Source: over 3 years ago
  • porting number
There are far better deals with MVNOs. If she's a heavy data user, US Mobile provides 100GB of "premium" data on Verizon for $45/month (plus about $5 in taxes); less with single lines. They have many cheaper plans for less data use, as do other MNVOs. Source: over 3 years ago
  • How can I buy a phone with service as a present?
If you're willing to consider the Verizon network I would check out US Mobile. They have many options to choose from, and all of their plans get "premium" (high priority) data on Verizon if you use a 5G phone. (They don't sell phones though). Source: over 3 years ago
  • Anybody here use Comcast for your cell phone service?
    I'd recommend US Mobile in this case. With a 10GB pooled plan you'd pay: * 4 lines @ $9 + $0.48 tax = $38.92 * 10GB data @ $2/GB = $20 * Total = $58.92. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Is this right?
US Mobile has options like "Unlimited Premium", with 100GB of premium data for each line, at $40/line for 2 lines "Pooled" plans for $9/line plus $2/GB of premium data. Source: over 3 years ago
  • MInt mobile or Visible?
US Mobile's Unlimited Premium plan gives you 100GB of premium data on Verizon, but then hard throttles at 256 kbps. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Number can't be assigned - GoogleFi blames device - Abysmal customer support
Meanwhile, I would recommend US Mobile. They have two different options: "Warp 5G" (for Verizon) and "GSM" (for T-Mobile). If Verizon's network works for you, the former is better supported and a better value (including "premium" data). Source: over 3 years ago
  • Try us for 100 days when you transfer your number. Absolutely free! ๐Ÿš€
It has to be done with a with SIMs from Starter Kits purchased between 11/25/22 at 12:01 AM EST and 12/2/22 at 11:59 PM EST on usmobile.com or our apps. You still have more than a day to get your Free Kit. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Looking to switch from T-Mobile to US Mobile
For any plan, just use this formula for an estimate of your monthly bill: Plan price on USMobile.com + $2 /mo /line + $0.48 /mo /line + 24%. Wireless taxes can depend on the specific locality you're in so the best way to get a definitive figure is to sign in to usmobile.com (maybe using like a fake temp email) and pretend like you're activating a new line until you get to the checkout page and it'll show you the... • large dead zone, no Fi support
T-Mobile is also subpar in my area, and generally less available across the country. That's the most important reason I left Fi for US Mobile (on Verizon's network). Source: over 3 years ago
  • Does Verizon $25/month loyalty stack with teacher discount?
I'd instead check out US Mobile, which is one of the few Verizon MVNOs (along with Visible1, Xfinity Mobile, and Spectrum Mobile) to offer premium data. This is particularly important on Verizon, because deprioritized data is aggressively throttled when there's congestion. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Sim card Tromso
If you only want data you may be able to find reasonable travel packages at https://esimdb.com/. Also US Mobile has a 10GB package for Norway/Sweden/Finland for $18. (Not sure if you can sign up with a Canadian address). Source: over 3 years ago
  • Where are people filing fraud reports against Verizon? I want to make sure I am filing everywhere I should be.
On the Verizon network this is absolutely essential, because the network is more congested than the others, and lower-priority data is throttled more aggressively. The following MVNOs provide premium data: * Visible on their "Visible+" plan ($25/month) * US Mobile on all their plans, so long as you have a 5G phone (note: it doesn't matter if you get 5G coverage on Verizon, as long as the phone supports 5G) ... • Finally leaving Fi due to terrible customer service
Actually there are a few. US Mobile seems to be well liked (both in r/usmobile and on TrustPilot), and I personally have had good experiences with them. (I still left mainly because they don't offer international calling; will return once they do). Source: over 3 years ago
  • Postpaid or Prepaid?
US Mobile offers 100GB of Premium data on their Unlimited Premium plan. Two people on this plan costs $40 each, or you can have one person on this plan ($45) plus another cheaper plan, e.g. 18GB for $25. Fees are extra, but less than Verizon's. USM also has excellent customer service, available 24/7. The only issue is that once you run over 100GB per month, additional data is throttled at 256 kbps (so not usable... Source: over 3 years ago
  • Dark Mode for Web Portal?
Strange. I can make the page dark in usmobile.com. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Verizon defends pricey plans in 5G world
MVNOs are the way to go here. US Mobile[0] gives you access to the Verizon 5G network for a lot less. 0 - https://usmobile.com. - Source: Hacker News / over 3 years ago
