US (2019) Ending Explained

Social recommendations and mentions

We have tracked the following product recommendations or mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you see what people think about Us and what they use it for.
  • Where to do research
Government Agencies. They usually call their designer's visual information specialist. Check usa.gov. Source: 8 months ago
  • From making 60,000 annually to 16 hourly?
Does show that show up on the usa.gov website or is that on another website. I'm new to the different agencies and stuff. Source: 11 months ago
  • Sen. Katie Britt to Pentagon boss: ‘Cut through the politics,’ move Space Command to Alabama
Okay. So DoD is comprised of military departments. The Armed Forces are comprised of military departments. They are all the same organizations. Colloquially, most people accept the use of the word "branch" to describe a segment of this community, up to and including the usa.gov website, the USO, military.com, etc. But if it makes you feel righteous, we can insist that here, within this sub, within this... • Elon Musk Has Broken Disaster-Response Twitter
Like I said, if you only allow USGS employees to make accounts on the USGS instance, then there is no moderation needed. Such a theoretical USGS instance would not repost or broadcast external content without someone on the USGS instance explicitly reposting or boosting. It's like making your own website. usa.gov doesn't worry about moderating content from bigdicks dot info because that content will never show up... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Driving with a foreign drivers license
According to usa.gov, this depends on the state and for Indiana it refers you to the BMV but I can't find any definitive information there. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Why do emails have .com at the end?
They go through a web server so naturally they need to end with the same suffix as that website. Https://www.usa.com is a different website to https://usa.gov . Addressing simply to emailaddress@usa wouldn't work. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Aspiring controller
Unless it's changed, one must be under 31 years of age by the close of the hiring bid (you can try to look up a previous bid on usa.gov perhaps to check out the fine print). The OTS bids usually come out June or July, so if that's the case again this year, you'll have one shot to apply. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Filing a police report question
From doing a whois lookup, and if I read it right, the scammers are in Panama. But now that I've everything organized, I'll look into usa.gov site, and I can call DC MPD to see if I should report there as well. With many thanks. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Some questions from an anxious International student.
This sub is probably too broad to help you much. For the technical immigration questions, go to the source, the usa.gov web pages. This is probably going to be much harder than you imagine, and probably not worth it, unless you marry a US citizen. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Republicans are Shameful. Full Stop.
According to this website usa.gov, you only need a permanent residence card also known as a Green Card in order to enlist in the U.S Military. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I need to get out of my mom's house, please give me some grace :')
I just desperately want to move out and go live my dreams in ATL and somehow continue to work as a government employee. I've been looking at jobs every day on usa.gov but I have only been working at my current job for three months so I have no idea if and when my applications will be viewed. I know that these things take time (saving up, getting my shit together, etc...) but I'm just so tired of the ridicule and... Source: over 1 year ago
  • My S/O Graduated with a BS in Biology and needs help getting into the field
This includes the usa.gov site and government.jobs. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Importing Goods to Sell in the US
I have been helping them to figure out how to utilize Google Translate to start navigating the usa.gov website sections about Importing and Exporting requirements in the US. I am mostly looking for advice on what to look out for in terms of scams or exploitation. Are there common misconceptions or pitfalls that non-citizens can blunder into? I'm worried about items getting impounded or confiscated for simple... Source: over 1 year ago
  • The "Not fully matured until 25" argument is infuriating
And for those who say: "But surely men can just refuse service right?" Nope, it's mandatory for a reason. And let's hear what usa.gov has to say about what can happen if a man does refuse:. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What is the most petty reason you won’t buy a specific game?
Gotta nominate Terraforming Mars here. The "art" there is all cited from the source; usa.gov. Someone in a group was like "hey, I think I know the guy in that lab!" :p. Source: over 1 year ago
  • How much did you make at your internship(s)?
Go to usajobs .gov website and look for internships. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Any idea on looking for specific actions US has taken before on sustainability
Sources that end with usa.gov UN sites Western (American media) Chinese media (for rebuttals). Source: over 1 year ago
  • Pat Proctor, who represents my district unfortunately, recently doxxed the people hes supposed to represent for protesting. Is there anything that can be done about this?
Doxxing is a federal crime, you can technically report it to usa.gov or https://tips.fbi.gov. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Government Accountability Office (GAO) Student Trainee (Paid Internship), Washington, DC
Right. I've applied for remote internships on usa.gov in the past and they have the word "remote" in the position title; anything else is usually onsite or maybe hybrid. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Laptop no WiFi, interfering with other device's connection. Win 11, Lenovo legion
If its the second (still connected to wifi) then from that second laptop you should ping your router, 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) and then www.google.com. After you connect your Legion you should try router and 8.8.8.8 and some site you haven't visited recently (like nba.com or usa.gov or something similar to see if DNS resolution is working). • I've been Fired From Two Separate IT Help Desk Jobs. Is It Me or Is IT Just Not For Me?
Are there any military bases in commuting range? If so, get your security + (don't bother with the A+ exam but you can review the material) and apply for help desk and deskside support jobs on sites like clearancejobs and usa.gov or just search for DoD IT contractors and look through their postings directly.
