I wish tailwind would support attributify like https://github.com/unocss/unocss. - Source: Hacker News / 2 months ago
What about a atomic CSS engine instead? UnoCSS. Source: about 1 year ago
This post is about generating px units by default in UnoCSS when used in Nuxt 3. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
You can find the page from the screenshot here. It is the documentation of Windblade, a Tailwind-inspired UnoCSS preset with a couple of improvements that I'm building. Source: about 1 year ago
Another option you have is to use UnoCSS browser runtime whit preset-wind that replicates Tailwind but this will put quite a strain on the performance and complicate your project architecture. This is mean mainly for dynamic documentation or visual editors. I am building an UnoCSS preset that uses this in it's documentation. I am planning to add the ability to view other UnoCSS preset in this documentation in the... Source: about 1 year ago
If you don't use Vite, you can read the documentation for other build tools. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
It uses UnoCSS (think TailwindCSS but super customizeable) with Pollen (which is similar to open props). Source: over 1 year ago
Haven't seen it mentioned, but if you like Tailwind, maybe take a look at UnoCSS: https://github.com/unocss/unocss It is like the next evolution of Tailwind. See this blog post for full explanation: https://antfu.me/posts/reimagine-atomic-css. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Solid Start also has end-to-end typesafety, so even in the UI code, the typesafety is maintained. This is similar to Remix patterns. I'm also using UnoCSS in this example. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
UnoCSS unlike other css frameworks is a css engine without any utility css of it's own, rather it uses different css framework's Presets. They generally work with build tools and after mentioning the preset you like you can use that framework's classes In your projects right away. Guess what, you can give any number of presets or write your own preset and use it with UnoCSS. And like Windi CSS they use the on... - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Utilizes UnoCSS - the instant on-demand atomic CSS engine. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
I like Tailwind, but have a look at Unocss. Source: over 1 year ago
Rakkas supports all styling options available to React apps. Since we're building an app with cutting-edge technologies, I think it would be fitting to use some of the latest and greatest styling options. Tailwind CSS seems to be the coolest kid in town nowadays. But we'll go even further and use UnoCSS. It's a reimagining of atomic CSS with an instant on-demand approach that is 200x faster than Tailwind JIT!... - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Those who do not know there are TW alternatives, One I think good is https://github.com/unocss/unocss. Source: over 1 year ago
Looks great! I haven't dug into the code at all, but would you have any idea how difficult it would be to get this to work with unocss as it supports all of the same CSS as tailwind? Source: almost 2 years ago
In our vite.config.js we'll add the SolidJS plugins and everything else needed To render and build the SolidJS App. We'll also add the Unocss engine. Some modules such as Solid-app-router or solid-headless require special handling for SSR, so they Have to be added into the noExternal array in the config. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
For those recommending Tailwind, it's huge if you're using it from the CDN (318K uncompressed). Other tools (except for Tachyons, these are maybe out of scope for a home lab): - Tachyons [0] is a small (16K-ish) utility class framework. - DaisyUI [1] is a free and open source component lib for Tailwind. - WindiCSS [2] is built on Tailwind with some additional features. - UnoCSS [3], an interesting on-demand atomic... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
Tailwind's implementation is a total mess. I have a custom preset for UnoCSS [1] focused on Tailwind compatability and use that for my company's low code platform. It's a couple orders of magnitude better for both size and latency and switching has allowed me to delete all the supporting code I'd written to work around Tailwind-the-implementation's shortcomings. I have minor complaints about Uno but I... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
