  • Generative Agents in a NEW Reality Show :) I dare you do it open source!
As you progress through each step, you may need to research and learn specific skills or tools. • wanna make a game with my 0 experience on c# and 0 experience on unity, any ideas?
The best thing you can do is learn unity. Unity themselves have a amazing official course teaching you the basics of the engine. I have also found that some experience in Java has carried over extremely well if you have any. Other then that there is not much more you can do. Source: over 1 year ago
  • How to start?
Unity.com/learn is a really good resource. For someone who has no coding experience I recommend starting with https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/csharp, especially the self-guided tutorials. You will need a basic understanding of coding and C#. The Microsoft tutorials will provide that. Source: over 1 year ago

Tbh I havent worked much with jumping in games, but you could add velocity to the rigidbody when you pressed space, then add a check to see whether or not it's grounded. I'm pretty sure unity has a 3D character controller that you could probably disect and learn from. And a little bit of advice would be to check out some of these Unity tutorials or Brackeys on yt. Both great places to learn and bolster your... Source: almost 2 years ago
  • C# book recommendations for a beginner getting into unity afterwards
For specific recommendations on courses, Unity has a course, but I've never used it and can't say if it's good or bad. Sorry to say that I don't have much more insight on what specific course to pick. At the end of the day the best choice is whatever works best for you. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • question
If you're a beginner then it's going to be a while before you can really make anything by yourself, look up tutorials series, like on Unity Learn or Youtube. Learn about C# and how to program or use visual scripting. Source: almost 2 years ago

  • I have a dream, and I have no idea where to start.
For when you choose unity: Go to Unity Learn and do some projects/courses, watch some videos, learn C# via unity learn and other unity resources, if u really don't like c# maybe try a visual programming language like Unitys Bolt. Source: almost 3 years ago
