I am the CEO of https://CoCalc.com. Before that, I was a tenured professor of mathematics at University of Washington (http://wstein.org), where I did mathematics research that involving usiong the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture as motivation to understand the constellation of arithmetic invariants associated to optimal quotients of modular Jacobians. I also started the SageMath open source mathematics software project (http://sagemath.org). I love skateboarding big vert halfpipes and going backpacking in the mountains with my blue heeler dog.
