If you want to save even more money, you can register your first year on a registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.) when they have a sale and then transfer the domain to Cloudflare. The best possible price for any TLD can normally be found on TLD List. This will only be cheaper than Cloudflare for the first year. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
If you're aiming for the most cheap, https://tld-list.com. Source: 5 months ago
It's worth going directly to the source of Porkbun's data, especially if you're trying to broadly compare domain prices: https://tld-list.com. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
Always use https://tld-list.com to find the registrar with the cheapest renewal rate. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
I put together a small table of the domain registrars I was personally contemplating, which supported the ".app" and ".dev" tlds: https://i.imgur.com/Em8d49P.png However, even better, there is a website that tracks the lowest prices for all domains across every tld. https://tld-list.com/. Use https://tld-list.com to check for domain names and prices. Pay attention to ‘renewal’ column only. Source: 10 months ago
It was the cheapest thing on this list: https://tld-list.com/. Source: 10 months ago
I recently moved all my domains to porkbun, their support is great (although not all UK business hours are covered, depending where in the world you are), renewals are amongst the cheapest and the interface is simple. I'd recommend taking a look at https://tld-list.com/ for reviews and pricing :). Source: 10 months ago
I like to use https://tld-list.com/ for registrar shopping. It has a lot of data on costs and features for many registrars. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
You can compare registration renewal and transfer costs here but the best thing to do is ask on Reddit for a recommendation from a list of providers, because not everyone listed there is reputable. Source: 11 months ago
Just a note: hether you choose 1. To use WordPress.com (paid commercial hosting service base on WordPress) or 2. To install the free software WordPress (which "WordPress.org" is about) on another hosting platform HAS NOTHING TO DO WHATSOEVER with the domain name you decide to register and use for your own website (.com, .org, .net, or any other of the 3475 domain extensions available out there)! You can host your website on your phone ,and then if there is no big traffic then ,it's going to be more easy ,and if you have to buy a custom domain, then you can get .tk it's one of the very rare domain which is 100% free, and if you want to buy the quality domain then you can use https://tld-list.com/ where you would find the cheapest registrar for that domain specifically. Not entirely :) Of the 54 registrars/resellers listed on tld-list.com, 26 have affiliate programs that the site is enrolled in. And most don't pay very much in commissions since the margins on domain name registrations for registrars are typically quite small. I think most registrars make most of their money through the add-on services such as hosting and email, which is why many really try to upsell to you during... Source: 11 months ago
This site: https://tld-list.com/ allows you to search the Domain fee's for all domains, including Transfer fee's etc. Source: 11 months ago
I use https://tld-list.com/, even though you can’t sort for available. Source: 12 months ago
Tld-list is a good place to see if domains are actually available, it also has the cheapest prices for all tlds. Source: 12 months ago
I recommend learning docker first, then pick a vps host from vpsbenchmarks, then use k3sup to deploy a kubernetes cluster on that, then follow a getting-started kubernetes tutorial from there. You'll also want to buy a domain name with tld-list and then provision a TLS certificate with cert-manager and letsencrypt (skip steps 1-4 because Google Cloud is overpriced). I use SimpleLogin and AnonAddy, and got the idea to buy a domain for cheap and use a catch-all for spam emails instead. Since Wix gave me a free domain I didn't initially need, I want one with minimal cost to upkeep once the free year runs out. Is Wix its own registrar, or does it sublet from another? Why isn't it on https://tld-list.com/? Is it smart to hop from registrar to registrar every year to take advantage... Source: about 1 year ago
Over the last month I've been putting together this site to try and help people find cool domain names for the cheapest prices! Think of it kind of like a mix between Domainr and TLD-List. Source: about 1 year ago
